We had the most amazing day on Speedboat Agelos! Dimitra and her team are so friendly and it’s such a great experience being on the boat. Symi was beautiful and the swim stops were stunning! Would recommend anyone to take this trip, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a fantastic time! The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere on board was fun and relaxed. The trip offers great value for a reasonable price. Best of all, you get to see and swim in the most beautiful, crystal-clear bays. Highly recommended for a perfect day out!

What an incredible day trip to Symi! This is a fantastic family-run business that made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped on board. The food and drinks were excellent, and the three swimming stops were absolutely beautiful.
Unlike the large passenger ferries, this trip gave us the opportunity to see much more of Symi and its stunning coastline at a relaxed pace. A special mention goes to Demetria, who shared the fascinating history of the island and surrounding area throughout the journey. Her knowledge and passion made the experience even more memorable.
If you’re visiting Rhodes and planning a trip to Symi, I highly recommend choosing this speedboat tour over the standard ferry. It was one of the highlights of our holiday! Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic trip with Speedboatagelos yesterday to Symi island
We got picked up from our hotel in kiotari by a lovely driver on time in a comfortable minibus and taken to the harbour , waited a little for the other people joining us for the day , the boat is run by the most wonderful couple who can’t do enough for you , dimitri you are one of a kind lady ! So fantastic at what she does making everyone smile , lovely hospitality with food and drinks and given everyone on board special moments that will stay in your memories forever , she gave me a beautiful moment getting me to sit on the front of the boat while going to one of the swim bays absolutely beautiful was very emotional sitting up there with the scenery all around you 🥰 thank you dimitri ❤️ Symi island was gorgeous lovely to walk all the little streets with shops for souvenirs and wonderful photo opportunities and well what can I say the swim bays were out of this world , they even give you drone footage at the end of day of your fantastic moments forever grateful to be part of the family 🇬🇷

We had the most amazing time with FLspeedboat Agelos. They were so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The journey was comfortable and the swim stops were breathtaking! We would definitely recommend this trip to beautiful Symi ❤️

The best way to get to Symi is a very quick trip. A shuttle is available upon arrival to take you to the main port (€4 return). After two hours in Symi, which is plenty, you'll set off again, making three stops in beautiful bays for some magical swims. A day you won't soon forget. It's best to speak some English.

I don’t enjoy writing bad reviews, but feel that in this case I have to.
My new wife Zareena and I had booked this trip in advance, as we were getting married on 6th June in Rhodes and we really wanted to visit Symi afterwards so booked the trip for Tuesday 9th June, reviews seemed good for Agelos from what we saw.
We were picked up from Virgina resort at 9.30 in the morning and taken to Rhodes Marina, we were met by Dimitra, I dont know whether it’s just maybe the way Dimitra is, but first words were “pleased to meet you, you need to pay me now”
Getting that out of the way, we boarded alongside 18 other intrepid seafarers, which included 3 children.
I’m not giving the bare minimum 1 star because at first everything was going okay and a lot of the trip was fine, however 20 minutes into the journey, Dimitra announced that the captain had to look at the engine as there was a problem, then we were told that the boat would have to go back to Rhodes for a repair, when we asked if they couldn’t just use their other boat, she told us that it hadn’t been serviced, so after waiting for some engineers/fitters/mechanics, or whatever you call people who fix boats, they were in about the engine for maybe half an hour or so, and she came out with what appeared like a broken jubilee clip and said that this was the problem and it had been repaired.
The little girl who had got off the boat with her mum was really scared to get back on but was told everything would be okay.
All seemed to be going well until just before we arrived at Symi, when we heard the noise from the engine change again, Zareena and I looked at each other, but again, we thought it must have been normal.
After a great 3 hours exploring Symi, we boarded again, taken to 1st swim stop, all good, great swimming and views, 2nd swim stop, again, great swimming, saw the goats, captain got the drone out and we thought all was well.
Captain was also on the phone a lot, speaking in Greek, so we didn’t know what was being talked about until Dimitra said that there was a problem with the boat again and that the other boat was on its way, the boat that apparently hadn’t been serviced, bit of a red flag but still we trusted them to be telling us all the truth.
Was another half hour or so before the blue boat arrived, bear in mind if I haven’t already said, we were on the green boat at this time.
We then transferred to the blue boat, and headed to the last swim stop, which didn’t happen due to the blue boat also having no anchor and everyone agreed to head back to Rhodes.
Immediately you could notice a very strong smell of diesel fuel, we started to see what looked like smoke coming from the rear of the boat and then all of a sudden was like much thicker, blacker smoke, almost everyone shouted to stop the boat, we feared a fire was about to start, with the engine shut down, the current was causing the boat to list really badly, parents were running into the front of the boat to grab life jackets for their kids, there just felt like panic, the boat listed so badly that a woman was thrown to the floor of the boat, a number of others were sick and there was just a feeling of panic among a number of passengers that we wouldn’t make it back to shore.
The problem was the lack of information being given to us by the captain on this boat and from Dimitra, when asked about why they weren’t putting out a mayday they just said that it’s okay and dont worry, we were already worried, anyone who said they weren’t was lying in my opinion.
The children on board were terrified, my wife was terrified, won’t lie I was worried.
Some passengers called coastguard, was so glad when I saw the coastguard boat arriving, Agelos wanted us to go back to Rhodes on the green boat, which already had mechanical issues twice.
To be fair to them, she did refund our money (eventually) , pay for accommodation on Symi and ferry travel the next morning.
We weren’t really given information on the boat regarding the situation, she just ran about saying “it’s okay” and “don’t call authorities, they won’t help you”

Highly recommend this trip! From the moment of enquiry to the end of the trip day, Dimitra was so informative and kept us in the loop. I cannot say enough how lovely her and husband were throughout! Had a fantastic ride over to symi and the swim stops were just beautiful! The whole trip felt very personal. I'm a very nervous swimmer in the sea, although I tried i had to get back on the boat and they couldn't have been more lovely about it, they just wanted everyone to enjoy their day! They also told us information about each stop too. We would choose this trip over the others we were offered at the harbour everytime. Well worth the money spent! It felt more like a family day out ❤️

We were on the trip when the engine had problems but the captain and his wife did all they could to sort things out. We did not feel worried in any way. We were offered the chance to change boats. But unfortunately another guest had phoned the coastguard so we had to return with them back to symi. When we got back to symi we were given a complete refund and paid for accommodation. And paid for ferry back to Rhodes. We cannot thank them enough. The trip was amazing and it cannot be helped that there was a problem with the engine. We had a lovely day and completely enjoyed the experience

Absolutely fine when things are going well. Terrible when things go wrong. Two separate boats had issues, one required the engine to be cut off in the middle of the Aegean Sea with black smoke bellowing from the engine. Whilst these things can and do happen, what was worrying is we were told not to call the coast guard as "they will not help" despite this clearly going against Maritime Law, and for some time had no power in the middle of the ocean.
No safety briefing before the cruise departed (see Maritime law comment).
Zero communication to the passengers who were extremely worried, with some even being sick. Instead the owner was constantly on the phone speaking Greek leaving all in the dark as to what was happening, until the coast guard arrived (that the passengers had to contact)
When honest social media posts were placed, not only were they deleted by the company, messages were sent threatening with legal action and being stopped at the airport.
Accommodation and ferry was covered when stranded on Symi island which has to be noted, however at no point was a refund offered until pushed and pushed and reluctantly paid back.
Symi was beautiful and the 2 bays we got to see and swim at were idyllic.
Please note the company claim on social media to have won a trip advisor travellers choice award however currently have no page on TripAdvisor itself.
As mentioned they were great early on with my daughter who was scared of being on the boat by offering an iPad/tablet to take her mind off it.

Thank you so much for the most incredible trip. Loved that there were only 20 people on board and we all got to know each other. We had a lovely walk around the harbour at Symi Island it is full of brightly coloured houses and winding steps. We then went to three different swim stops and spent an hour in each. I have never seen such beautiful crystal clear water in my life. We took our snorkeling stuff and watched the variety of fish swim by! The host were very friendly and welcoming. We felt like it was a very personal trip. The biggest highlight was, when we got back we were given drone footage of the day. Thank you so much for the most memorable day of our holiday. 💓

Then, when I contacted the company to ask for the departure time, I was informed yet again that there was a problem with the boat and asked if we could move the trip to Sunday.
The company was fully aware that many tourists have limited time on the island, yet they kept changing the date with no regard for their customers’ plans. Sunday was impossible for us because we were flying back to the UK that day.
As a result, we never got to visit Symi, which was one of the main reasons for our trip to Rhodes. The lack of organisation, poor communication, and complete disregard for customers ruined this part of our holiday.
Technical problems can happen, but repeatedly cancelling and rescheduling at the last minute is simply unacceptable. If you value your holiday and don’t want your plans ruined, book with a different company.
Very disappointed and would never use this company again.

A most amazing day , Dimitra was so energetic & informative , we were taken to magical places u can only get to by boat . An unforgettable day we will always remember.

Discovering Symi by speedboat with 3 swimming stops! We opted for the sandwich, drink, and fruit package! Dimitra and her husband are fantastic! And the transfer was a huge plus (thanks for the return trip in a Mercedes, haha). I 100% recommend it!

We had a fabulous day out with these guys, the lady who owns the company fulled explained everything throughout the day, Symi was definitely worth the visit too. Highly recommend and the photos and drone footage given at the end of the day was a extra special bonus 🥰

Absolutely the best day , we would recommend speedboatagelos if you visit Rhodes, Demetria and the Captain could not be more helpful, fun and accommodating, this is a trip not to be missed, would go again in a heartbeat, until next time our speadboat family xx 🫶🏻

What an amazing day myself and my husband had yesterday, by far the highlight of our week here in Rhodes! Collected from our hotel in Pefkos at the time stated and taken to Rhodes marina where the fun and fabulous hospitality began. Transfer to Simi was quick around 50 mins then onto a bus to take us to the the main area of Simi which is beautiful. We opted to take the road train which was 10 euros each for a 45 minute trip and a great way to see some of the islands beauty. We were then picked back up after around 2 hours and taken to 3 stunning beautiful bays for swim stops and fun. Sandwiches and a drink were provided and they took pictures and drone footage of the day which was sent via whatsapp the same evening at no extra charge. The owners were absoultely fantastic and couldnt do enough to make sure everyone was happy, the lady owner is so funny she was hilarious and had us all laughing all day. There was one young child on the trip with his parents and they went out of their way to make him feel special, asking him if he wanted to drive the boat which we all could see made his day. A great trip as it ticked all the boxes for us, transfers included, sightseeing and swim stops all in one day. A trip not to be missed!

Super fun and fast trip to Symi. You are picked up at or near your hotel. From the new harbor, it takes 50 minutes to get to Symi. On the way back, there are 3 stops at beautiful bays. The couple running the trip is great!

Picked up in minivan from Lindos - arrived 1.5 hours later at harbour to be told that trip was cancelled because two passengers had cancelled at last minute - and the owners wouldn't make money on it. So back to Lindos - 3 hours in a minibus for nothing . Absolutely unacceptable . Don't book with them

Wow what can I say... we had an AMAZING day today what an experience 3 hours in symi to take in the breath taking views. Followed by 3 amazing swim stop? Such a calm relaxing day and thank you to our host Fl speedboat agelos they are incredible, Friendly, great people. We found them on face book after recommendations i would 100% recommend anyone coming to rhodes to do this day trip. Well worth the money and what an experience .

What an AMAZING day !
A trip not to be missed, the trip is so well set out you arrive in Symi prior to all the other day trips with going there on a speedboat which was great for us as we walked around and got to see this beautiful place without crowds.
The other big positive for us we got 3 stops in beautiful bays to swim in where as all other tours you only get the one stop where everyone else stops.
Mamma who she loves to be called (isn’t her real name) is so attentive nothing is to much trouble also a fantastic atmosphere all day long

We absolutely loved our boat trip day. The couple who hosted us were incredibly welcoming, full of knowledge and made us feel extremely safe while travelling. The day itself was very flexible and guided by the group. We had plenty of time to explore each incredible location and would highly recommend this day trip 🫶🏻

What a wonderful day from start to finish. Easy to book with very clear instructions on where to meet and what to expect. The hotel transfer was punctual, courteous and comfortable. The boat crew really made the day special with great home-cooked food and loads and loads of laughs. I was slightly apprehensive being a solo, more mature traveller, but I needn't have worried at all. They made sure everyone felt safe, comfortable and confident at all times. Symi is beautiful, and the swim stops were just stunning. A trip not to be missed and worth every penny!

A fantastic experience from start to finish! It felt like a true little family for the day and we all had so much fun. The bays were spectacular to swim in and the view of Symi during the stop on the shuttle bus was beautiful 😍 we will definitely be back, cannot recommend enough! 👏🏻

My partner and I are in Rhodes for the first time and were looking to do a boat trip as one of our experiences.
I posted in my hotel’s Facebook group to find out who people were booking with and would recommend. I received a recommendation for Speedboat Agelos, who I then messaged.
From the very first message, we were greeted with warmth and fantastic knowledge of the local area, and we were swiftly booked onto a boat trip to Symi with 3 bay stops included for swimming.
We were given 3 price options to choose from, and we went for option 2, which included sandwiches, drinks, and fruit on board.
The day before our trip, Dimitra contacted me with details of when our transfer from the hotel to the marina would be.
On the morning of the trip, Vasilis picked us and the other guests up and got us to the marina safely. When we arrived, we were greeted by Dimitra and her husband Fotis, who showed us to the boat, explained the itinerary for the day, and got us underway.
Our time in Symi was simply stunning. We had an amazing time exploring the island, arriving by boat before being taken by bus from the dock into the centre of the island, with transport back provided a few hours later.
Afterwards, we visited 3 beautiful bay locations and swam in 2 of them (it started raining at the third stop, so we stayed on board!). Dimitra was incredible throughout — providing food, fruit, water, taking photos and even drone footage, which she kindly sent to me afterwards.
We cannot thank Dimitra, Fotis, and Vasilis enough for their care and attention throughout the entire trip. We feel so lucky to have been recommended such an amazing company for this experience.

Magnifique expérience avec Speedboatagelos aujourd'hui ! Ce sont des gens merveilleux qui nous ont permis de passer une super journée sur l'île de symi et nous avons pu nous baigner dans plusieurs magnifiques baies aux environs de symi. Toujours dans le rire et la bonne humeur. Je recommande vivement ces personnes ♥️♥️

We recommend everyone who visit Rhodes to book cruise to Symi with swim stop at 4 different beaches with Speedboat Agelos. I would say that option with very light and nutritious food in the middle of cruise is the best one . Its great experience ever ! Team is very friendly make you feel very comfortable , they explain everything on start of trip. Thank you 😘

We had a wonderful day last Saturday! 🌞 A caring team, always attentive to our needs. We explored the island of Symi 🥰, with its magnificent coastline and stunning waters 🩵, swimming and exploring bay after bay. My partner, a snorkeling enthusiast, was absolutely thrilled. 🐠🤿 And so was I!

Wow! What a day!!! We booked the Symi trip with swim stops at a few bays. We had a magnificent day from start to finish. The team are so lovely and helpful, making you feel comfortable and they also have fun with you and chat.
The locations are beautiful!! Some breathtaking views. We saw turtles and there were even goats on the beach!
The boat is comfortable and the ladders off the back are solid and large so makes it easier to get on and off into the water.
They had floats to help us in the water if needed and even snorkel masks and goggles to borrow too.
Symi is a gorgeous island! It’s a must see! We had plenty time to explore the main area which was full of shops and restaurants including lots of little boutiques and local products. The herb shop is great! Follow your nose through the little streets, you’ll smell it before you see it!
Thank you for a fabulous day, I would recommend this company and this tour to anyone! The boat is fast, and can be bumpy if the sea is rough but we really enjoyed the adventure. I would 100% go again!

What an amazing ride! Highly recommended! My adventurous daughter (15) and I had an amazing time: everything was done right!
We felt super safe during the entire trip and it was very comfortable.
Definitely worth it. The crew were really friendly and outgoing. You can play your favourite music on the boat and the crew will dance with you.

Just amazing!!!
A fabulous speedboat with a very careful skipper who was knowledgeable and professional. We felt safe from the beginning and that allowed us to have a care-free day.
We spent the whole day on private beaches while the crew prepared delicious food for us.
We had a wonderful journey with the best service ever - great treatment by the crew- careful towards our individual needs.
We enjoyed the journey even more than the destination itself.
Highly recommended.

Went on a day cruise to symi island with fodis and dimitra, immediately felt like home with great atmosphere and music. Dimitra took care of us and the kids and gave us drinks and homemade food. It was the best day of our trip with swimming stops at beautiful bays and a lot of fun. Thank you speedboatagelos.

Amazing staff, felt safe in their hands. Also big + for the places we went to. But more was promised by the man at the port than what was delivered:
- meals for the whole day (in the end we got a bad sandwich and watermelon for the whole day)
- showers (where?)
- 2 toilets (where? The boat had one toilet which was in bad shape/ no floating water to wash your hands)
As mentioned I felt safe in the staff's hands, but the boat is probably not the best for mediterranean waves which made some of us sea sick and was also scary.
All in all it was a very nice day since the trip was fun, we had a fantastic view, amazing places to swim and visit but on the other hand bad food, bad equipment and scary "small" boat.

For those thinking about it, just do it !! ... it's worth dragging yourself out of bed because it's a brilliant day out 👍👍 And you won't forget the eggy farts down in the volcano crater on Nysiros 😆😆

Wow, wow, wow!! We had the most amazing day trip of our lives yesterday with this wonderful husband and wife duo, they truly cannot do enough for you and their personalities & passion for what they do shines through. We will forever recommend this trip to our friends and family! Collected from our hotel at 8am, left Rhodes marina at 10am, boat over to Symi island to explore for a few hours then we stopped off to swim in the sea at 3 secluded beaches/coves, food and drinks supplied were gorgeous too. It was just a trip we’ll never forget, thank you! xxx
